ABOUT

In 1986, I embarked on a goal that has enticed me since I was a child. Yeah, some people aspire to be doctors, actors or politicians, but not me. For as long as I can remember, I have always had a love for entertainment.

I took that love to Duquesne University and earned a BA degree in Broadcast Journalism. I entered the broadcast field by landing my first job in radio (WDUQ 90.5 FM) as a freshman at the age of 18. Hired as a production assistant, I learned the ins & outs of radio/audio equipment along with programming and formatting. It was also at this time that I began my mobile disc jockey career by working university functions on campus. My collegiate days were highlighted with internships at KDKA-AM, WTAE-AM and WHTX-FM.

For two years following graduation, I worked as a production assistant for WTAE-AM. When available, I would also work mobile dj gigs. In 1992, I moved away from radio and into the club scene. I started by entertaining people of all ages at Shaler Skateland, an excellent stepping stone. Shortly thereafter, I landed weekend work at Co Co Loco´s (formerly at the Airport Marriott) and then onto the Warehouse Cafe in Bethel Park.

Then, in 1996, I fell out of love as a club dj and in love with private party gigs. My contacts were plentiful and getting the ball rolling turned out to be a piece of cake. To this day, I feel it is the best decision that I have ever made. I love what I do and many people have said that it shows. You will never see the “burnt-out” effect in me. To this day, I still get a few butterflies before each gig. I guess it is the excitement of knowing that you have put your trust in my hands to provide a good time for you.
